Late Flat Dutch Cabbage

Still growing in our September garden are many Late Flat Dutch Cabbages like this one. Winter Cabbage keeps very well in a root cellar or refrigerator crisper for months. We also make Sauerkraut which may be canned to last for years, or eaten over the Winter from the crock. Stuffed cabbage anyone? Stir fried Cabbage? Cole slaw? There are many ways to prepare this easy to grow and easy to store vegetable!
