Early Jersey Wakefield Cabbage

In the center of this photo, is a row of our Early Jersey Wakefield Cabbage. Normally here in Connecticut, I start this early cabbage inside near the end of February and set the plants out in mid April. In this late May picture, some of the center leaves are starting to fold in to begin forming heads. By early July, I should begin harvesting nice heads of cabbage for summer salads, stir fry and Cole Slaw!
