I enjoy entering vegetables, herbs and flowers at our local fair. This year I had 15 submissions. These yielded 2 second place and 13 first place ribbons. With one Best of Class!! Even though our weather has been less than optimal with a drought our heirloom varieties earned first place. California Wonder Peppers, Beefsteak Tomatoes and Sugar Pie Pumpkins all grew wonderfully. No, I did not water. These varieties are HARDY!!! Of course I will harvest the seeds from these prize winners and they will become part of Seed for Securities sales inventory. Fresh seeds for sure!! You will see Yukon Gold Potatoes and giant dahlias in the photo also.
