The jars were washed and sterilized in the oven, then held at 180 degrees. Each was filled from the drain hose and sealed with a lid boiled for one minute. The juice is not all extracted at once by the steam. It was about 40 minutes from filling the first jar to the last one. No further processing is required, it is just bottled according to the instructions which came with the steam juicer. I bottled 3 quart and 3 pint jars. One quart is needed for a batch of jelly which I plan to make after the harvest rush is over,
