Here I have 23 quart jars of Summer sauerkraut canned and ready to keep on the shelf for years to come. It took me 2 hours and 15 minutes to pack and can all these. With two canners on the stove, it is hard to reach behind them for the tea kettle to top off the steam canner water pans, so I use a separate hot plate to the right.On top of the stove, you can see the Back to Basics steam canner water pan with the rack in it to support the jars above the boiling water.
