2012 Boiling sap the fourth time
About twice a week we collect 8 to 12 gallons of Maple Sap from the 11 taps we made in 2012. Our first three boilings yielded less than the average ratio of 40 quarts of sap for 1 quart of syrup. This time we are doing better than average with around a quart and a half of Maple Syrup.
