Drying Squash seeds

After rinsing in lukewarm water and draining the seeds are scattered on trays with paper towels to dry. I will turn them, and check them daily. It will take about 6 weeks for all of them to dry thoroughly. When ready to store, they will break in half instead of bending in my fingers. Pumpkin seeds are prepared in the exact same way.
