In this mid August photo, you can see one of the seedlings I started indoors in June and set out as seedlings in July. It is just starting to form a head. This Fall I plan to make a huge batch of Homemade Sauerkraut again and can it after it ferments to be just the way we like it. Then it will keep for years on the shelf. We will have plenty on hand. Planting and Harvest times vary in different parts of the country.
