Here is one of our registered Nubian breeding buck goats. Genetically, the male is half of your herd. In the background on the right, is a simple shelter for our bucks. That shack and a strong tall fenced corral, is all the housing they need in the spring, summer, and fall. Once all the [female] doe goats have been bred, the bucks can stay with the herd of does in the barn for the winter. The bucks need to go back to the corral when the young are born.
