Beets and cover crops in our Fall garden

The row on the right was planted to continue our beet harvests into the late Fall. The left row are fully mature and we pick them to eat as we need them. The Cover crops of Oats and Crimson Clover are coming up everywhere. We have had several frosts already. All these crops will continue to grow into Winter weather. We will be harvesting beets regularly and the cover crops will Winter kill and be like straw in the Spring here in North East Connecticut.
