Russian Apple tree seedling

One of three tiny apple trees I started from seed and set outside. As far as I know, this is the only variety of apple which grows true from it's seeds. It bears late and does not fully ripen until after storage for a month or more. This will be an excellent cider apple pressed in December and the cider will keep well during our winter season without canning it.
