Beginning Garden 2021

It's late February and time to start some early crops inside. The flat on the left has been sown with California Wonder Pepper seeds. I put a heat mat under the flat as peppers benefit from warmth to germinate. The flat is the middle has been sown with Early Jersey Wakefield Cabbage. The last partial flat is a combination of Early Jersey Wakefield Cabbage and Moss Curled Parsley. At the end of March I will sow my Beefsteak Tomato and Genovese Pesto Basil seeds. Through the window you can see some of the snow has melted. Once the tiny seedlings break through the soil, I'll turn on the grow lights and adjust them to be close to the plants.
