I use wide mouth pint jars like these to freeze some extra beans. Make sure the jar is wider all the way to the top or it would break in the freezer. Beans can also be Pressure Canned after cooking and seasoning to keep on the shelf indefinitely. Pint jars do not require a huge Canning Pressure cooker, some smaller ones will can 4 or 5 regular pint jars at a time.
