Set up to work right in our home we clamped the Sheller onto our wood box and lined it with an old Table Cloth. With two chairs both operators could sit. One fed the ears of corn from the crate while the other cranked the handle. The seed fell into the cloth and the empty cobs were ejected into the cardboard box. We use the dry cobs when building fires in our Kitchen Range or Fire Place. With paper for kindling, the cobs feed the flames until the hard wood has caught.
