Acme screw rod and collar

This is the large screw which will press down on the ground apples. Notice the hollow cylinder shape welded to the end outside the frame. It is for a handle to slide through. At other end the tip is smaller in diameter. That will fit into a stack of lubricated washers above a round plywood piston cut to fit inside the strainer basket.
