Steaming Apple juice 11

I use ordinary canning jars, and place a lid boiled for one minute on top, and secure it with a ring. This is not in the Mehu-Liisa instructions. Reusable rubber caps for old fashion soda or beer bottles were available. I have used them. They do work well, but such bottles are a little hard to find, and they are more difficult to wash thoroughly. No further processing is needed. The jar is simply moved to a good place to cool, and the ring is removed the next day. Like any home canned food, you should check to make sure each container has sealed before putting away, and store in a cool, dry, dark place. If you will have some sunlight, I just wrap clear glass containers with several layers of news paper, and secure it with an elastic. Don't forget to mark the date so you can rotate your foods.
