Getting ready to can Relish!

While the Relish is simmering in the Maslin pan on the right, the steam canner is being preheated on the left. The lids have been boiled on a back burner, and the oven is holding the clean jars at 210 degrees. On the counter to the right you can see the end of a board with newspapers on top. This is to set the hot pans and jars on to protect the counter top.
