Steaming Apple juice 10

It may be hard to see into our oven in this photo. I prefer to sterilize my bottles this way. They can also be submerged and boiled in water or steamed. Start at room temperature with clean, just washed and thoroughly rinsed glass containers. Bring water to a rolling boil, or an oven to 260 degrees F, and then time them for 20-30 minutes. Dry glass containers must cool below boiling temperatures before filling, so after the time at 260 degrees, we just turn the oven down to 200 degrees to keep them ready. The jars will be ready to fill directly from from the Mehu-Liisa steam juicer.
