- If you want an open-pollinated cabbage that will keep into the winter, this is the one. We have successfully kept Flat Dutch cabbages in the refrigerator covered with a damp cloth until mid February. Their huge leaves will easily wrap around hamburger filling to make delicious stuffed cabbage. Also great for kraut.
