Crock Pot Millet

Millet is very easy to cook. No need to pre soak like dry beans or grind like other grains. It can be simmered in a crock pot or slow cooker for a few hours or cooked like rice on any stove top. It will be done even faster. Some recipes call for browning millet lightly in oil or butter for just a few minutes before adding the water for a nuttier flavor.
