Shelling corn

The previous ear had mostly mahogany colored kernels. In this photo I hold a ruler to show the length of the next ear I will shell. In the tray is the cast aluminum tool for shelling corn from Lehman's Hardware. It does speed this work and save your hands. Leather gloves help if you do not have the hand sheller tool.
