Beets about half grown

The smaller leaves are still good raw in salads, and the larger ones can be steamed, boiled or sautéed. Thin by pulling some of the plants whole to eat as baby beets, and leave the rest to mature as a root crop. You can still harvest a few leaves from those plants to boil as well. There are a few stalks of grass in there, but they aren't hurting anything.
